All Huff, No Puff!

It’s now been ten games since Micky Adams took charge; since then and are still searching for a win prior to their trip to Glanford Park last night. Though, whilst it must seem all doom and gloom following that defeat to Palace at the weekend which spread the Eagles to a five point gap a lot must be taken into account that United aren’t playing poorly.

They have huffed, and puffed in front of goal with little results – that may not be acceptable to most fans and don’t get me wrong, it is worrying that the defence is considering goals whilst none or not enough are being fired home at the right end.

Last week we touched that an Attacking-Midfielder should be drafted in; I still stand by that claim, he would give the front two a massive boost and hopefully would grab a few goals in the process.

Darren Ambrose would have proved a suitable choice in pre-season; his goal on Saturday was his 21st of the campaign in a struggling Palace side.

The Blades host Derby County this weekend, another side who could drop into the relegation mix; I would be more than happy with that if it came at the Blades expense of Championship survival. But getting points on the board is important right now and if they didn’t get anything at Scunthorpe then surely at least a point can be picked up against the Rams.
