Sink Or Swim Time

By the time that Welsh trip is upon us we may have already known our fate, hopefully we shall be basking in the Liberty sun knowing that Championship football will be bestowed upon us next season and not a gloomy short journey across the city to play at the rust bucket!

Our game in hand against Reading was played on Tuesday night, performances a side we naturally hope that we claimed all three points and that the arrival of the legend that is Harry Bassett has sprung a positive step in the right direction.

United almost made it their first victory under Adams and Bassett’s presence warmed the hearts of the Blades faithful in the stands, if not on the pitch; it was two points lost against Millwall but they must take this momentum into the next few games and solider on.

Points, particularly have never been fast coming away from home; this season mostly! But it is imperative that United claim something from our next two away games at Crystal Palace and Scunthorpe United.

Both teams are in and around us in the league table with United picking up eight points from our last five visits to Selhurst Park whilst at Glanford Park the Blades haven’t won their since 1984 (four meetings ago), though the Iron have one just once at home this season.
