Blades Open Day photo's

The event took place on Sunday with thousands turning out to see the players and go behind the scenes. Below are images from the event.

The newly laid grass has grown with the Halliwell's Stand looking over.

More people are flooding in to watch the players train and to get their hands on the players signatures.

The Family Stand will no longer be named the Capital One Stand as you can see by looking at the top of the Stand. Advertising signs of Capital One have been taken down while Blades Mad believe that an Airline Company will be the new official sponsor.

A massive inflatable Sheffield United ball has encroached onto the playing field with Captain Blade and friends also in the image.

No markings have been painted on the pitch yet. The Capital One Stand looms over.

Litter has made it's way into the dugout with the red and white seats of the Kop in the background.

Thankfully litter hasn't been blown onto the field. The never ending queue for signatures can be seen at the bottom of the Kop.

Players are willing to sign signatures for fans. The queues were never ending as you can see in the previous picture.

The Chengdu Blades stopped off for a brief visit on the tour of England. Games against Sheffield United and Sheffield FC await the Chinese outfit.

And the final two pictures feature from behind the scenes. The above image is the Boardroom where Kevin McCabe and Co have meetings etc.

And finally, the Manager's Office. This is where Kevin Blackwell does all the signings and other things involving the club.
