Youth player Slew made his Sheffield United debut as a substitute in the 1-0 defeat to Watford during the 2010-11

campaign having made great progress in the youth and reserves set up.
The previous season he netted a number of goals for the reserves; most notably the match winner against Sheffield Wednesday at Bramall Lane.
A pacey and powerful forward; the youngster looks to be a bright prospect - on 9th October 2010 he netted an hat-trick for the academy side as they won 4-0 at Huddersfield Town, it was his second treble in as many games having netted three in a game just weeks early against Newcastle United. On 2nd November 2010 the young striker was handed a professional contract; signing a deal up until June 2012.
