Adams has recently signed defenders Joe Mattock (West Brom) and Shane Lowry (Aston Villa) and last week added striker Marcus Bent from Birmingham, all on loan until the end of the season.
All three players appeared in the Blades' 2-1 home defeat to Norwich and afterwards Adams said: "In terms of bringing new players in I think we could make a couple of additions, starting with a permanent signing maybe on Monday.
"I won't give anything away on name, position or club, but it's common knowledge that I'm looking to add some experience."
