Trevor Birch, a highly regarded gentleman in the sport industry, is to come the new Chief Executive of Sheffield United Football Club.
Birch was the Chief Executive at Premier League giants Chelsea at one point.
The club has announced that there will be a press conference with Blades chairman Kevin McCabe later on in the day to share the ins and outs of Trevor's appointment. The time of the conference hasn't been publicised, but Blades Mad understands it will go ahead at 3:00PM this (Friday) afternoon.
