Darius Henderson, Greg Halford and Gary Naysmith are all struggling with knocks which they picked up in the battle against Lancastrian outfit Burnley. The latter is almost certain to be out and could not be in action until next season.

On left-back Gary Naysmith, manager Kevin Blackwell commented: "We are waiting for the specialist to re-read the scans because one shows no damage and the other indicates that there might be a slight tear. The experts will re-do them and then compare to come to a decision.

"Fingers crossed it is just a strain and not a ligament tear because if it is, that will be the end of him until next August. Even if it is not he must be doubtful for Saturday."

Even though former Reading duo Darius Henderson and Greg Halford are carrying minor injuries, they should both feature in the intriguing encounter against Roberto Martinez's Swans.
