Former Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell claims he has moved on from his departure from Bramall Lane last month. He was sacked by United after a two-and-a-half-year stint in charge following a poor start to the season and a 3-0 home defeat at the hands of QPR. "I had a great time at Sheffield United," he reflected on Goals on Sunday. "I went there in 1999 with Neil (Warnock) and apart from the three years when I went to Leeds I had a great time there and I have no qualms about Sheffield United. You just know your career will start again somewhere else. "My record at Sheffield United was nearly a 44% rate out of 160-odd games. If you can win nearly half your games you're going to be there or there abouts. In the three years we were never outside the top eight or nine. "It is frustrating. I'd love to be able to keep a team together and be able to build from there. "It was a surprise (to be sacked), but you don't dwell on the past, you move forward. I left a lot of good friends there and overall the directors and myself got on very well. It's their decision and you have to abide by it."
