Blackwell prepared to be cautious

Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell said he will not be in a hurry to buy in the January transfer window.

Blackwell states there could be a little modification to his team this month, but financial decisions has to be based on long-term benefit to the squad because of the economic slowdown.

"I would be stupid to say that no-one will ever leave" Blackwell speaking ahead of the game against Norwich city. "Everything has to be considered on its merits. That includes people coming in and going out, and you have to be prudent."

"Everyone remembers where they were in September when the banks went bottoms up, and that was a wake-up call for a lot of people.
