Blackwell said: "We will review the Stokes' situation with the player and Sunderland. His spell here was a mixed bag really - he was really exciting early on but he faded a bit which is often what happens with loans but he did the job expected of him, for sure.
"We are not having contract negotiations with any players until the end of the season and that would include players like Greg (Halford) who is on loan. He is due to stay until May although Sunderland now have the right to an instant recall should they feel the need."
