Royals coach Wally Downes was fined £2,000 and handed a one match touchline ban after he admitted improper conduct.

Following the Gillespie and Hunt incident caused a Malay in the dugout; Downes was seen to confront Neil Warnock, after a seemingly kicking gesture was made, sparking a brief encounter with all backroom staff at both the Blades and Reading
Warnock said after the incident that his gesture was made to inform referee Mark Halsey that a tackle on Chris Armstrong by Steve Sidwell was the worst he had seen in the game.
