Sheffield born Beckett was due to sign for Hull City on Friday but the deal fell through at the KC Stadium where Neil Warnock jumped in at the weekend to sign him on a two deal worth £50,000.

It was believed that the Owls would pursue the striker and place a bid, looks like they were too late! however they did try and sign Beckett last season but pulled out after being quoted £1,000,000.
During his career the 27 year old has notched up a massive 106 goals in 237 (+ 13 as sub) appearances.
