Sheffield United ended their pre-season campaign with a 1-0 win against Argentinian side Estudiantes at Bramall Lane. The Blades, who fielded Hungarian trialist Laszlo Bodnar in defence, failed to break down their illustrious South American opponents until the 85th minute when Matty Lowton grabbed the winner. Kevin Blackwell's men open their Championship campaign at last season's play-off finalists Cardiff next Sunday.
