Blades closed on Friday morning to pay respect to Derek
As due respect to Derek Dooley and his family, Bramall Lane will be closed on Friday until midday so all staff at Bramall Lane can pay their condolences to him.
Sheffield United operations director Simon Argall said:"We have taken the descison as mark of respect to Derek and his family. It will also provide an opportunity for many members of our staff to pay their final respects to Derek.
"We apologise to our fans for any inconvenience this may cause but trust they will understand why we have taken the decision to close."
