Following the Blades relegation to the Championship several Sheffield United players; including Republic of Ireland international Paddy Kenny has been linked with a move away from Bramall Lane.
However the Blades are keen to keep hold of their better players if they are to make a push for promotion next season should they not be reinstated following the Arbitration hearing.
"Two or three weeks ago both parties met up for discussions," Blades chairman Terry Robinson told the sufc.co.uk.
"They took place and at this moment, we have no further comment to make."
