Carl Cort: Blades Transfer Target?

Cort, aged 26 is valued at £1,200,000, a lot less than the £7,000,000 that the Toon paid for him in 2000 from Wimbledon.

Since then he has made 19 Premiership starts and scored 7 goals, he has yet to make an appearance this season which leaves him left out of the St James Park Club.

Though it may not be true that United are chasing the striker it has been said that Division One rivals West Bromwich Albion are also interested in buying Cort.
