The Blades last game was on Saturday in FA Cup round five. The Blades got to round five by beating Ipswich Town 4-3 at home. United took a 3-0 lead with two goals from birthday boy Michael Brown and one from Phil Jagielka. However the Horses hit back three goals in six minutes when Thomas Gaardsoe, Tommy Miller (penalty) and Darren Bent all struck to equalise. However United spoiled the Town party when Paul Peschisolido was on hand to snatch home the winner in the 90th minute.

United go into the game with Michael Tonge back from suspension, however Shaun Murphy is expected to miss the game as he is suffering from a broken nose. Long term injury's is Nick Montgomery (6 weeks) who has a bone chipped in his ankle and Iffy Onoura who is out until the end of the season. Our last trip to the Lions Den was not a memorable one as the Blades sunk to a 2-0 defeat. Stuart Neathercott (18mins) and Christophe Kinet (82) both scored in the victory.
