Lupoli, 22 joins the Italian Series B club Ascoli with Francesco Di Tacchio coming the other way.
He was signed on loan from the Italian giants last season; scoring on his debut in that 2-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday; just five minutes into the game. He also scored in our 2-1 home win over Barnsley and in all he made just two (+7) appearances and netted twice.
The Italian Under-21 international made his last appearance for United at Wembley, in the 1-0 Play-Off Final defeat to Burnley.
