The Leeds born central midfielder has made over 230 appearances for Sheffield United and has confessed that he'd love to have an extension on his contract which runs out shorlty.

He said: "I love this club and in Kevin McCabe we have the best chairman we could have, he's a fantastic bloke. Sheffield United is a big club that can attract good players here and I want to stay.

"As it stands I am out of contract at the end of this season although the Club does have a year's option on me, and I hope they take it up."
