Kendall, 69 served as manager of Sheffield United from 1995 to 1997, saving the club from relegation from what is now known as the Championship before guiding them to a play off final defeat to Crystal Palace in 1997.
Along the way he was victorious as manager, beating Arsenal in a FA Cup replay.
He passed away yesterday in Southport Hospital with his love ones surrounding him. Our deepest condolences goes out to all his friends and family.
