Blades return excites Warnock

"Bramall Lane is a super place, I helped to build it," he said.

"It's always good. I've got a lot of good friends there and the fans are always good to me - well the majority are."

United are struggling for form and with injuries but Warnock is concentrating on his own team and maintaining his 100% record having picked up two wins in two since he took charge.

"To be honest I'm not that worried about anyone else, I'm excited about coming here and starting afresh. I thought I'd be on a cruise ship by now," he added. "But I've got the enthusiasm back."
