Both James Beattie and David Carney signed from Everton and Australian outfit Sydney FC for fees of £4,000,000 and £50,000 respectively.
The two players put pen to paper yesterday after successfully passing a medical and were paraded in front the fans who watched the home friendly with Nottingham Forest.
