Blades skipper focused on league

By Team Talk
Monday, 25th January 2010
Blades skipper focused on league.

chris morgan - sheffield united skipper
Second-half goals from Gretar Steinsson and Johan Elmander at the Reebok Stadium have left Kevin Blackwell's side with only the Championship to focus on between now and the end of the season, but Morgan insists there was little to separate the two sides.

The central defender said: "We're out of the Cup now and have to fully concentrate on a busy few weeks in the league, starting with Reading on Tuesday."

Morgan added: "There wasn't much in it in the first half, but at the start of the second we shot ourselves in the foot, then it was always going to be an uphill battle.

"There was not much between the teams apart from the fact that we gave two soft goals away. I thought 2-0 flattered them and they will probably agree."
