Edgar, 28 has joined the Bl;ades on loan for the remainder of the season just days after United stuffered a 4-0 loss to the hands of Gillingham on the openingh day of the season.
He was part of the Birmingham side which lost 8-0 at home to Bournemouth last season whilst he was sent off in the process. This blip aside he has 31 International caps to his name for Canada and has represented Burnley 99 times at both Premier League and Championship level.
It is unlikley that he will make his debut at Morecambe tomorrow night in the League Cup but is likley to start at home to Chesterfield on Saturday.
