Sheffield United Academy boss Nick Cox said of the move; "The academy fixture schedule quietens down across the Christmas period so it gives us an ideal opportunity to loan some of the boys to our partner clubs for them to gain some valuable experiences in senior football."All of our players are familiar with the demands of youth team football so we are keen to expose them to a new experience in order to prepare them for first-team football further down the line.

"Playing in front of the paying public, playing with and against experienced players, an emphasis on league position are all things that the boys will need to be comfortable with if they are to progress to the next level.”

The Steels are in home action on Boxing Day against Frickley Athletic and also this Saturday against Chorley at Bracken Moor where the trio could feature.
