Blades trio make world stage

Evans was a half-time replacement for Steve Morrison in Wales' 2-0 home defeat to Euro 2012 qualifying rivals England on Saturday and fellow Blades striker Bogdanovic played the full 90 minutes for Malta, who went down to a solitary last-minute goal at home to Greece.

Blades midfielder Riise, on loan from Fulham, played alongside brother John Arne as Norway drew 1-1 with Denmark in Oslo.

Meanwhile, Blades' teenage striker Jordan Slew is hoping to feature for England Under-19s in their freindly in Holland after being drafted in as a replacement for the injured Alex Chamberlain.
