Bluebirds are dangerous - Blackwell

Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell reckons Sunday`s opponents Cardiff are still a huge threat, despite their off-the-field problems. The Bluebirds, who lost in the play-off final to Blackpool last season, continue to operate under a strict transfer embargo due to their financial difficulties. And though Blackwell hopes Sunday's clash will be an ideal time to face the Welsh outfit, he knows they will not be an easy proposition. "Maybe it's not a bad time to be playing them. Who knows?," Blackwell told the Sheffield Star. "But whatever is going on off the pitch, the one thing I do know is that Dave is going to have his boys fired-up and ready. So we've got to be prepared for that. "Cardiff suffered a massive disappointment at Wembley and they are going to want to show that they are over that. Like us, they are going to want to make an early statement of intent."
