Boss wants fans in good voice

The United faithful don't need persuading really. That is proved by topping the list in the highest average attendance list last season. Around an average of 25,000 loyal United fans turned out in all weathers to see their team battle it out.

"Bramall Lane is fortress and we will attack at every opportunity. Our crowd can really help the lads and I was pleased with the gate in midweek," said the Blades Gaffer.

The Blades previous meeting with Rangers was last February and a Chris Morgan leveller secured the point at Loftus Road. On that result Blackwell continued: "It ended 1:1 but we should have won. They have spent heavily, were on a terrific run and were probably expected to beat us and really make a challenge for the run-in."

"But we got stronger as the match wore on and had some terrific chances."
