United hope to boost the Blades profile both on and off the field in China where the Blades have already set up an academy, hoping to bring future Chinese stars to Sheffield.
Chairman Kevin McCabe has revealed plans to buy a Football Club but will not state which club this is!
McCabe told BBC Radio Sheffield: "Part of it is to do with commercial reasons, trying to get further revenue generated from China.
"Obviously international players that play for the club we're buying just may have the potential to become first-team players here at Bramall Lane.
"It's a very exciting opportunity for Sheffield United."
