Could Standing Return to Bramall Lane?

A BBC report has suggested that safe standing areas could be re-introduced to football grounds up and down the country after all 72 member of the Football League, including Sheffield United were sent a document canvassing their opinion on the matter. At present we do not know of where the Blades 'stand' on this issue. However the club did run an 'unofficial' standing area on the Kop a few years ago which was highly successful.

The Football Supporters Federation (www.fsf.org.uk) has totally backing this idea and been campaigning for this for over a decade now and could become a reality. Bramall Lane is already an all seated stadium but there are standing areas in lower league clubs

On a personal note I would like to see a section of Bramall Lane tried and tested, the back of the kop would prove a suitable place for safe standing, but this area would have to be monitored and ALL ticket only! but that is my opinion, why not cast your vote on our opinion poll and discuss the matter on our message board.
