Sturridge, who is on loan to the Blades has returned to Molineux for treatment, but tests have later shown that he has also a knee injury.

"Hearing that Dean has apparently got a knee injury is a surprise to us," boss Neil Warnock told the Sheffield Star. "He never mentioned it when he was here and there was no sign of it."
