Morrison, 33 played just 8 times for the Blades having previously been signed by Neil Warnock from rivals Wednesday where he had progressed through their youth training system. Whilst with the Owls he played twice on loan at Hull City whilst later playing for Stockport County and Bradford City also.
He appeared today at Derry Magistrates’ Court, Northern Ireland after the offences allegedly were committed on Friday. He was also charged with handling a stolen car in the Republic of Ireland with no insurance and no license. He was bailed until reappearing in court next month.
