United will take on a Premier League side in there final fixture before the 2005/06 season starts. In the last two seasons the Blades have faced Middlesbrough and Tottenham but it believed it is neither of those teams but more like Man City, Birmingahm or Fulham.
The campaign kicks-off in the non-league where United face Worksop Town on 11 July, before they head to Asia where they face Xi'an Anqiingyuan FC, Zhejiang Lucheng FC and Hunan Xiangjun FC.
United return to England to face Blackpool at Bloomfield Road on 27 July, then they face the unnamed Premiership side three days later.
As for the academy, they will travel to Ireland to play in the Foyle and Milk Cup, two competitions which they won in 2004.
As for the reserves they will play away at a host of non-league clubs which includes there annual trip to Scarborough on 3 August
