Geary, 27 was handed a total of 72 votes (out of 218) to be voted as Blades-Mad Player of the Month for August 2007.
He made sterling performances against Colchester United and West Bromwich Albion; both of which were at Bramall Lane and was voted fans favourite for those particular matches.
Michael Tonge was named as the Blades Man of the Match at Watford (lost 1-0) but striker James Beattie was the man who finished as runner-up to Geary whilst Chris Armstrong was named third.

Unfortunately for Geary, he will be missing for some of the games in September as he serves a ban after being sent off in the Blades recent 3-2 defeat at Scunthorpe United.
