Paul Gerrard, could leave Everton soon.
The former Oldham Athletic keeper, aged 30 arrived at Bramall Lane in mid-August on loan from Everton, but his spell at the Lane does not until 29th November 2003.

Former Arsenal keeper Richard Wright and Steve Simonsen put Gerrard out the net before the season started, but since then David Moyes has purchased Nigel Martyn from Leeds United to put Gerrard 4th in the pecking order.

"If I go to another Premiership club I'm probably going to be facing more of the same," Gerrard told Everton's website (www.evertonfc.com).

Blades number one keeper Paddy Kenny was injured just before Gerrard joined in a game against Crystal Palace and is expected to be back around Christmas time. Meanwhile it has been suggested that Birmingham City's Ian Bennett is to sign for United.
