Grab Yourselves A Bargain!

The book is a fan’s view that covers the off field culture of home and away games, trawling the continent by a combination of train, coach, tram and car in support of both Sheffield United and England. The era covered is from the mid 90s to 2010 and recalls many scrapes, escapades and antics - many alcohol induced – travelling to other countries, on the terraces, in pubs and in the build up to games.

Stories are retold of many run-ins and close shaves with authorities, ticket touts, press, locals and just occasionally fellow England fans, usually of the Wednesday persuasion. Pleasingly the opportunity to upset and ridicule in equal measure the esteemed ‘gentlemen’ of the FA is covered; a number of cricket celebrities also bear the brunt, as do a whole host of characters, oddballs and chancers.

An ideal read for your summer holidays or perfect light relief for any Blade looking to get over the newest form of United-related Wembley torture!
