Hyde Joins Clarets

Micah Hyde v Liverpool's Robbie Fowler.
Hyde, who has recently been on trial for the Blades and played in that 4-3 defeat at Matlock Town has signed a three-year deal with the Turf Moor side.

Burnley manager Steve Cotterill told his club's official website: "I'm delighted to have signed Micah. He's a terrific midfielder, a great leader, good experience and a good age at 29.

"He is a very good player and we're pleased to add him to our team.

"He's a good character, very determined and he's a winner.

"It's another piece in the jigsaw and the squad is starting to shape up a bit more now."

Ironically, Hyde will make his full professional debut on August 7th at Turf Moor against the Blades. Lets just hope the ex-player curse doesn't happen this time.
