Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United are just a couple of Richard Cresswell's former clubs - both the Blades' arch rivals. Because the Yorkshire-born forward had spells at Hillsborough and Elland Road, he wasn't welcomed by some fans - unfair to say the least!

But, after scoring a goal and cracking his ribs for his troubles in his full debut, the 32-year-old has declared that he will give his all for Sheffield United and he's 'loving' it at Bramall Lane.

Cresswell's commitment and effort on Tuesday night against Nottingham Forest was evident. The Stoke loanee, who's on the verge of signing a permanent contract at S2 according to recent media reports, said:

"The injury didn't help but I love it here and I scored on my full debut at Bramall Lane. Hopefully, I can get the fans on my side by showing that I am here to give 110 per cent every time I play.

"There is a great set-up and the club is geared up for the Premier League.
The squad is equipped to make a real good push for promotion and we have shown in the last few games that we can be a match for anyone."
