littlejohn, who was released by League One outfit Port Vale was set to sign for Scunthorpe United but has apparently turned down a short term offer for the Imps security of a longer contract.
"He's accepted a six-month contract and hopefully everything will be completed in time for Saturday's game against Rushden," said City boss Keith Alexander. "It's taken a lot of time and it's now down to Adrian to prove he's worth a permanent deal."
