Ironside, 21 has signed a 18 month deal with the the Conference side after enjoying a loan spell with them earlier in the season. He made his United debut in a 4-1 win at Nott's County in the JPT in October 2012 and went onto make a total of 23 appearances (mainly off the bench) for the Blades. He was loaned out to Alfreton earlier this season and latter Hartlepool United before making a permanent move to Town today.
Joe told Alfreton's official website; "I'm extremely excited. The club has ambitious plans. "I enjoyed my time on loan earlier in the season and I can't wait to get started again. I am hopeful I can help keep the club up."
