The 25 year old midfielder was told that he had no future in Sheffield during pre-season and was slapped on the transfer list.
The french man joined the Blades in March 2002, initially on a short term contract until he gained a two year deal at the club.
The ex-French International will now try and find a new club in his home Country of France.
