Kenny Named POTM

The former Bradford Park Avenue shot stopper was ever present during the month of February, picking up a total of 41 points out of the six games played against; Derby County, Watford, Plymouth Argyle, Reading, Sheffield Wednesday and Queens Park Rangers.

The competition however was very close, with runner-up Phil Jagielka missing out by one point, whilst 3rd place went to Paul Ifill with 38 points. However a special praise has to go to Michael Tonge, who despite not featuring in all of the games, missing the Plymouth away game through illness still managed to record an average points per game of 7.0, compared to others such as Kenny who managed a game average of 6.8 per game.

Another praise must go to Simon Francis, the defender hasn't appeared much this season but has managed to pick up the 'Player of the Month' for both January and February whilst on loan at Tranmere Rovers. That award was voted for by the fans of Rovers from their unofficial site Rovers Rear Guard.
