The Emerald Isle face Czech Republic on Wednesday night at Lansdown Road and is excepted that Shay Given will be number one while Kenny is likely to come off the bench.
Republic of Ireland boss Brian Kerr said; "This would seem the ideal opportunity to give Paddy Kenny a debut for Ireland at some stage of the game," he said.
So far Kenny has received one call-up against Brazil but unfortunately stayed seated on the bench throughout the game.
