2010/2011: The Bees finished a reasonable 11th last season, and reached the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final at Wembley, only to lose to Carlisle 1:0. Despite being in the Football League Trophy semi-finals at the time, former Blades player Andy Scott was sacked as manager in February with the club tantalisingly above the drop zone. 37-year-old Nicky Forster was put in temporary charge until the end of the season, and lead the London club to a creditable mid-table finish.

How will they fair this season? Former Manchester City forward Uwe Rosler has taken the reins at Griffin Park. One of his first signings as Bees boss is that of Crewe Alexandra's Clayton Donaldson - he netted 28 times in League Two. I think a tough season lies ahead for them, and they will just scrape away from relegation, with Donaldson's goals hopefully proving to be beneficial.

Blades Mad's 2011/2012 predicted finish: 18th

Best odds for promotion: 8/1

Star player: Clayton Donaldson
