Lets Take Advantage This Weekend...

The Blades (4th placed) face 10th placed Ipswich Town at Bramall Lane today, and whilst the Suffolk oufit will be searching for all three points as they attempt to make a late surge into the top six a win for the home side must surely add weight to there promotion contentions.

Many fans believe that United are more than capable of making a top two finale (I hope they do) but they need to be on the backs of second placed Birmingham City whom face league leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night; there is a six point cap between the Blades and the Blues and a win for United and a draw in the Midlands derby at St Andrews would put United in a great position.

Meanwhile third placed Reading travel to Ricoh Arena to face Coventry City where the Sky Blues have ruffled a few feathers this season and claimed some unlikely wins.

Elsewhere the Welsh derby between Cardiff City and Swansea City takes place at Ninnian Park this Sunday where the Swans have a slim chance of making the play-offs in there first season in the Championship - a win over there rivals would only give them hope and allow United to slowly drift away.

Of course were not naive enough to believe that the Blades have already won there fixture with Ipswich Town, we believe that this game is winnable but not set in stone.

Blades-Mad would urge all fans to get themselves down to Bramall Lane (if they can) and get behind the team - we have seven games remaining in the 2008-09 season and were now at the business end where every point and every goal matters.

Come on you Red & White Wizards!!!
