Match Preview: Blades v Derby County

Robert Kozluk: Will play against former club.
The Blades go into the game having beaten Bradford City 2-0 at Bramall Lane last Saturday. Chris Morgan and Jack Lester netting second half goals.

Defender Simon Francis may finally make his first appearance for the Blades, since his signing from Bradford a week ago Francis wasn't allowed to play against his former club and sat on the bench in that 1-1 midweek draw with Rotherham.

United however will miss Izale McLeod, he and Peschisolido will not be allowed to feature against their former clubs.

We believe that Neil Warnock has no fresh injury doubts which means that current casualties are Ashley Ward (knee), Steve Kabba (broken leg) and Chris Armstrong (hamstring).

Former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Ian Taylor took early advantage as they lead after four minutes, and by the time Gareth Taylor netted for the visitors on stroke of half-time time the Rams were 3-0 up after Peschisolido (28 & 37) grabbed a brace.

Paul Peschisolido: Won't play against Blades.

After Half-Time the City Ground club gave themselves hope when Williams made it 3-2, but with eight minutes remaining Tudgay scored the all important winner.

New signing Paul Peschisolido will not be allowed to play against the Blades on Tuesday, the Canadian international has scored four goals in three games since his departure.

Leon Osman (thigh) is doubtful while Jamie Vincent (hamstring) will be out, though German Marco Reich (hamstring) is rated at 50/50.

However Michael Johnson (back), Rob Edwards and Noel Whelen (both virus) are back in training.
