Bolton Wanderers were on the wrong end of a 4-1 thrashing two weeks ago when they visited Manchester United. The League leaders netted with Wayne Rooney and Ji-Sung Park braces with Gary Speed netting from the spot for a scant consolation.

The Trotters will be without former Real Madrid Defender Ivan Campo who misses the clash against the Blades and their eagerly anticipated Lancashire derby against Wigan Athletic due to suspension.

Sam Allardyce's only casualty is to Joey O'Brien who is out for an estimated three months with a knee injury.

Sheffield United also went away with nothing when they travelled to Chelsea only to lose 3-0. Andriy Shevchenko, Soloman Kalou and Michael Ballack netting the goals.

In the first half the Blades lost star striker Rob Hulse to a broken leg, it is expected he will miss the remainder of the season. Christian Nade, Danny Webber and Luton Shelton are fighting to replace the former Leeds United forward with Frenchman Nade the likely.

Defender Chris Lucketti is also out injured with a bruised foot but is unlikely to shake it off and may have to wait until they face Newcastle United a week on Saturday before he can get back in the starting eleven.

However United could field new signing Matthew Kilgallon, the defender has yet to make his debut since his signing in January from Leeds United. Striker Luton Shelton is also pushing for a debut after being match fit to make the bench at Stamford Bridge.

Possible Blades Line-Up: Paddy Kenny, Derek Geary, Phil Jagielka, Claude Davis, Chris Armstrong, Keith Gillespie, Michael Tonge, Nick Montgomery, Colin Kazim-Richards, Jonathan Stead, Luton Shelton.
