This is the Whites second home game in a row after the Championship club faced Southampton on Tuesday night. United won 2-1 with Robbie Blake and Rob Hulse getting on the score sheet with Theo Wilcott netting for the visitors.

During the win Midfielder Shaun Derry picked up his fifth yellow card of the Championship campaign but will not sit out the West v South Yorkshire Derby and will serve his one match suspension in the Carling Cup next week.

Kevin Blackwell will go into this game without 1M man Richard Cresswell, the former Wednesday striker has ruptured knee tendon and will be out for for 11 weeks whilst David Healy (ankle) is also unlikely to start.

The home side feature two former Blades in there squad, keeper Ian Bennett and Midfielder Shaun Derry. Bennett came to United on a months loan from Birmingham City in December 2004 where he played five games, making his debut at Rotherham United in a 2-2 draw.

Derry was signed in January 1998 by Nigel Spackman, the Midfielder went onto play 62 games (10 as sub) but failed to score in any of the games he played. In March 2000 he was sold to Portsmouth.

Predicted Whites Line-Up: Neil Sullivan, Garry Kelly, Frazer Richardson, Paul Butler, Dan Harding, Shaun Derry, Sean Gregan, Eddie Lewis, Jonathan Douglas, Robbie Blake, Robert Hulse

United play their second away game in the space of three days after there game with Millwall on Tuesday night. Danny Webber netted a brace whilst Vincent Pericard scored his first goal for the club and Alan Quinn swung in a free-kick to record a 4-0 victory.

Like Derry, Blades skipper Chris Morgan also picked up his fifth booking to date but he too will miss United's Carling Cup trip to Reading next Tuesday.

However the Blades biggest loss in the win over the Lions was to full-back Robert Kozluk who went off early on in the game with a hamstring injury, therefore changes will be made to the back four. It is likely that Leigh Bromby will revert to right-back with Craig Short making a return.

Neil Warnock also has a selection problem upfront, Vincent Pericard and Danny Webber came in for the Millwall game to rest Neil Shipperley and Steven Kabba, but both have done enough to warrant a place in the first team.

Predicted Blades Line-Up: Paddy Kenny, Leigh Bromby, Craig Short, Chris Morgan, David Unsworth, Paul Ifill, Nick Montgomery, Phil Jagielka, Alan Quinn, Neil Shipperley, Steven Kabba.
