Sir Alex Ferguson is expected to field the same team that played against Watford last Saturday in the FA Cup Semi-Final at Villa Park (Aston Villa).

The Old Trafford club recorded a four-one victory with Wayne Rooney scoring twice, Christian Ronaldo and substitute Keiron Richardson scoring the goals after Hamar Bouazza had equalised for the Hornets.

The Red Devils are facing injury concerns ahead of their fixture against the Blades; John O'Shea (calf) is doubtful whilst striker Louis Saha (hamstring) has missed their last nine games but could make it against United, but is more likely to be ready to face Middlesbrough the following weekend.

O'Shea was withdrawn after 52 minutes during their 7-1 thrashing of AS Roma in the Champions League last Tuesday. "John didn't train on Friday," said Sir Alex Ferguson. "Patrice Evra came in at right-back on Tuesday and did very well.

"Paul Scholes is back from suspension - his experience could be important in a semi-final."

Manchester United have no more than five other players injured after Rio Ferdinand (groin) limped off against the Hornets.

Mikele Silvestre (dislocated shoulder), Park Ji-Sung (knee), Gary Neville (ankle), Nemanja Vidic (fractured collarbone) and Edwin Van Der Saar (nose) are also out injured for the home side.

Possible Red Devils Line-Up: Tomasz Kuszczak, Wes Brown, Darren Fletcher, Patrice Evera, Gabriel Heinze, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Michael Carrick, Christiano Ronalso, Alan Smith, Wayne Rooney.

Sheffield United faced West Ham United last Saturday in a relegation six-pointer, and overwhelmed the Hammers with a 3-0 victory.

Michael Tonge lashed home a free-kick six minutes before the first half after Anton Ferdinand dragged down Christian Nadé outside the box. Phil Jagielka headed home from a Keith Gillespie corner before Jonathan Stead hammered home twelve minutes from time.

Sheffield United are unlikely to go to Old Trafford without central-defender Claude Davis, the Jamaican international went off with a leg injury during the win over the Irons and replaced by Chris Morgan.

Neil Warnock should feature former Manchester United favourite Keith Gillespie who started his football career with the Old Trafford club. However he only played seven (plus 7 as a sub) professional games for the club and netted twice between February 1993 and January 1995 before being sold to Newcastle United.

Another Manchester United youth product at the Blades disposal is Danny Webber who played in just two League Cup fixture (at Sunderland and Arsenal) and a substitute appearance against Deportivo in the Champions League. His spell lasted between August 1999 and July 2003 when he joined Watford.

Possible Blades Line-Up: Paddy Kenny, Derek Geary, Phil Jagielka, Chris Morgan, Matthew Kilgallon, Mikele Leigertwood, Keith Gillespie, Michael Tonge, Nick Montgomery, Colin Kazim-Richards, Christian Nadé.
