blades v toffees
The trip to Anfield proved fruitless as the Reds came out 4-0 winners. The man they call 'God' Robbie Fowler netted two penalties to set them on their way with Sami Hyypia and the formidable Steven Gerrard finishing off the Blades.

Sheffield United will be without Midfielders Michael Tonge and Nick Montgomery through suspension after the duo picked up their fifth bookings of the season.

Meanwhile the Blades welcome back winger Keith Gillespie, the Northern Ireland international has been absent from the previous four fixtures due to suspension after being sent-off at Reading on January 20th.

The Blades will also be without Defender Chris Lucketti who limped off at Anfield with a bruised foot whilst former Evertonian Li Tie (shoulder), Mikele Leigertwood and Matthew Kilgallon (both ankle) are sidelined.

After playing an unsuccessful 4-5-1 formation in Merseyside it is likely that Neil Warnock will revert to a usual 4-4-2 layout with Chris Morgan, Keith Gillespie and Jonathan Stead returning to the side in place of Chris Lucketti,

Possible Blades Line-Up: Paddy Kenny, Derek Geary, Phil Jagielka, Chris Morgan, Chris Armstrong, Keith Gillespie, Stephen Quinn, Ahmed Fathi, Colin Kazim-Richards, Rob Hulse, Jonathan Stead.

Everton were 3-0 victors at Vicarage Road last Saturday as they overcame Watford with Manuel Fernandes, Andrew Johnson (penalty) and Leon Osman bagging the goals.

The Toffees will travel to Bramall Lane without Andy van der Meyde (groin), James McFadden (broken metatarsal), Patrick Boyle (stressed fractured back) and Nuno Valente (calf) are all injured.

Meanwhile forward Victor Anichebe will sit on the sidelines with a one match suspension.

Possible Toffees Line-Up: Tim Howard, Phil Neville, Joseph Yobo, Joleon Lescott, Gary Naysmith, Tim Cahill, Lee Carsley, Henriques Manuel Fernandes, Mikel Amatrian Arteta, James Beattie, Andrew Johnson.
